WHAT: ERDEM S/S 2013
WHERE: LONDON FASHION WEEK
WHEN; 17th SEPTEMBER, 2PM
As in the words of Head Designer himself, Erdem Moralioglu, this season's collection would be 'risk-taking and 'more out of his usual boundaries'. He certainly proved the fashion crowd right, showcasing a range of ladylike dresses, in shades of what can only be described as 'toxic pastels'.
The outlandishly beautiful collection was inspired by 1950's sci-fi writer and housewife, Zenna Henderson and was quoted as being something of an alien/spaceship type proposition.
Embroidered florals and mid length hemlines were popular in the line, with neon brights bringing the retro dress styles into a more modern proximity.
The Canadian native used intricate detailing on the creations, with miniscule flowers, beaded collars and the occasional baring midriff.

The make-up, applied by M.A.C, was clone-like and robotic, using neutral colours, with a slight neon lip.
The hair, by Charles Worthington, was pulled into a sleek low bun, which was a nice contrast against the loud prints of the dresses.
This collection is easily wearable and oozes feminity, and is perfect for the coming Spring season!
