Well, here it is! Ro Ro's very first BLOG SHOOT!

It was a chilly October afternoon, the sun was just managing to crack through, but there was still a chilly Autumn breeze in the air.

After Olivia's camera broke ( typical, right?!) we resorted to my dad's phone!

After our shoot, we went to Topshop, where we tried on some of the newest outfits, and searched for inspiration for our blog.

We wish we had enough money to buy EVERYTHING we tried on! 

A girl can dream...

It was SO much fun doing our shoot, and we will definitely be doing another one soon!

Models, including Lindsey Wixson, took to the runway

Never failing to disappoint the awaiting fashion junkies, the Louis Vuitton S/S 2013 catwalk was as show-stopping as the bright lemon courts the models were parading the runway in.

Riding down the multiple escalators in pairs, with glistening fairy lights above and melodic music played throughout, the Vuitton models showcased some of the most perfectly simplistic acid yellow pieces. ( Quite a contrast!). 

The Daniel Burden inspired collection was extremely sixties, with stereotypical graphic mini dresses and rectangular silhouettes.

Although, Marc Jacobs made it look effortless with loud, almost blinding, square print and immaculately sleek fabrics. Showing his demure, sophisticated side, Jacobs dressed up the more mellow pieces with an occasional corsage, complete with, what else, but a lemon Louis box bag.

The models, including Lindsey Wixson, wore their locks in neat, back combed bee-hives, with satin hair bands and barely there make up.

We can't wait to see the next Jacobs for Vuitton collection!

Dr Martens, yes or yes?

Dr Martens. Everybody loves them yeah? Well, not only is it 'Sweater Weather' but this season, DMs are coming in BIG. Personally, a pair of white floral DM's are written clearly on my Christmas list and I certainly can't wait until I get them! They're just... urgh, so pretty! Here is a perfect outfit that you can pair with Dr Martens for this season:

Make sure you get your own DM's this year or maybe next, they're such a huge statement on fashion and will probably go with anything... skirts, jeans, shorts, dressed... you get the idea!

The Hipster Debate

                                           

     Does the sight of galaxy print leggings and red Vans make you quiver? Or the pure thought of girls clad in barely-there cut out dresses make you want to shake your fist in the face of society? This is the ever- so controversial HIPSTER.
    
           Stampeding Tumblr with their Nutella obsession and love for all things 'triangle', these girls ( and boys!) are prone to reblogging pictures of their bathroom shots and people smoking in snapbacks. 
   

      Often recognised for having meaningless crosses emblazoned all over their clothes and a skateboard they can't ride, these people evolved from nowhere, ready to take over the streets with their supposedly 'individual' taste. 

Just some hipster zombies.

   
    Hipsters were beforehand known as older men and women in the 90's, who were dressed in skinny jeans and liked the occasional house party. Not 13 year old girls who wear often mismatched extensions, and are overjoyed at 5,000 notes of their Starbucks coffee.
  
    If you are looking for a hipster blog, there URL normally contains the words 'slutty', 'unicorn', 'whore' or 'bitch'. Oh dear.
  Maybe you like their style, their androgynous pout and dip dyed locks. Or perhaps, you're more likely to agree with this lovely old lady.

October is here ( good thing, right?), which we take as the official start of Autumn! The leaves are transforming into a crispy amber, and there is a sudden noticeable breeze outside.

Daphne Groeneveld

Daphne Groeneveld was born on the 24 of December 1993 in Leiderdorp, Netherlands and was first scouted whilst shopping with her mother in Amsterdam  by Bloom Model Management.

She works for London, Milan, New York and Paris modelling agencies and has taken part in numerous campaigns this year, such as;

• CK Fragrance S/S campaign
• Jill Stuart S/S campaign
• Dior Addict Fragrance S/S campaign 
• Roberto Cavalli S/S campaign
• Dsquared2 F/W campaign
• Vogue Korea, Vogue Russia, Self Service, i-D covers

 And has looked beautiful in all of them might I say! To be honest, she really is a beautiful model. With her long blonde locks, bright blue eyes, big, full lips and flawless figure. She can carry off any outfit without it looking too heavy or frumpy on her slim frame of 179 cm.

She has graced the front covers of Vogue with Tom Ford, walked in Valentino, Chanel and Dior Haute Couture fashion shows in Paris. She even recieved dance moves from the queen of pop Madonna for a Miu Miu ad campaign. Wow! Can me and Rebecca get dance moves from her!?
